2. Information You May Provide

The app may allow you to enter basic information when preparing a vehicle service request, estimate, inquiry, or support message, including:

• Selected automotive service
• Vehicle condition or problem description
• Preferred service date and preferred contact method
• Service request notes
• Payment preference, such as cash at service or pay at pickup
• An optional vehicle or damage image
• Other information you voluntarily include in a request

You should only provide information that is necessary for your automotive service inquiry.

3. Local Storage

The app may store limited information locally on your device using Android local storage technologies such as SharedPreferences, including onboarding completion status, appearance or dark-mode preference, saved vehicle details, basic service request summaries, estimate information, request reference numbers, and other app settings.

This information is used to provide app functionality and improve your experience. The app does not automatically upload locally stored request summaries to a WreckTech Automotive server.

You may remove locally stored information by using available deletion options in the app, clearing the app's storage through your device settings, or uninstalling the app.

4. Email Requests

The app may prepare an email request containing information you entered. When you select an email or service-request option, the app may open Gmail with the support email address, subject, body, and an optional image attachment prefilled.

The app does not automatically send the email. You must review and manually send it from Gmail. Once sent, the information is processed according to Gmail's and Google's applicable privacy practices.

Information sent by email may be received and reviewed by WreckTech Automotive to respond to your inquiry, review service needs, confirm availability, or provide customer support.

5. Optional Images and Device Access

The app may allow you to select an image related to your vehicle or service request. The app accesses an image only when you actively choose to select or attach it. Selected images may be displayed temporarily in the app, attached to an email request, or processed by the email application you choose to use.

The app does not continuously access your photos and does not automatically upload selected images to a remote server operated by WreckTech Automotive.

Please avoid including people, license documents, financial information, precise location information, or other unnecessary sensitive details in uploaded images.

6. Internet Access and External Images

The app may use an internet connection to display automotive images or other visual content hosted by external providers. When external content is loaded, the provider may automatically receive standard technical information such as IP address, device or browser information, request date and time, and the requested resource.

WreckTech Automotive does not use this functionality to intentionally identify individual users. The practices of external content providers are governed by their own privacy policies.

7. How Information Is Used

Information you provide may be used to prepare vehicle service requests, generate preliminary service estimates, display saved request summaries, respond to customer inquiries, review automotive service needs, confirm service availability and timing, provide customer support, improve app functionality and usability, maintain app preferences, protect the app against misuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

The app does not use your information for unrelated financial, medical, gambling, adult, investment, or lending services.

8. Information Sharing

WreckTech Automotive does not sell or rent personal information entered into the app. Information may be shared only in limited circumstances:

Service communications

Information included in an email may be sent to WreckTech Automotive when you manually send the prepared message.

User-selected applications

Information may be shared with Gmail or another compatible application when you intentionally choose to open or send content through that application.

Service providers

Information may be processed by technical service providers when necessary to operate email, image delivery, hosting, or other app-related functionality.

Legal requirements

Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable laws or legal processes, respond to lawful government requests, protect users, the public, or WreckTech Automotive, investigate fraud, security incidents, or misuse, or enforce applicable terms and policies.

9. Payments and Financial Information

The app does not include a real online payment gateway and does not collect or process credit or debit card information, bank account details, digital wallet credentials, online banking credentials, loan information, investment information, or cryptocurrency information.

The app may display offline payment preferences such as cash at service or pay at pickup. Selecting a payment preference does not create or process a financial transaction inside the app.

Do not enter card numbers, bank details, passwords, PINs, or other financial credentials in service-request notes or email messages.

10. Preliminary Estimates

Any estimate generated by the app is provided for general planning and informational purposes only. An estimate is not a binding quotation, a guaranteed price, an insurance valuation, a professional damage appraisal, a guarantee of parts availability, or a guarantee of service completion time.

Final pricing may change after vehicle inspection, labor assessment, parts verification, taxes, fees, and other relevant factors.

11. Appointment and Service Disclaimer

Submitting or preparing a request does not guarantee appointment confirmation, service or parts availability, repair completion, pickup or delivery timing, final pricing, or a particular service outcome.

The WreckTech Automotive team may contact you to confirm availability, timing, vehicle details, inspection requirements, and applicable service costs.

12. Data Retention

Information stored locally remains on your device until you delete it through the app, clear the app's storage, uninstall the app, or the device or operating system removes the data.

Information sent by email may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, provide customer support, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal or regulatory obligations.

You may contact WreckTech Automotive to request deletion of information previously submitted by email. Certain information may be retained when required by law or for legitimate recordkeeping purposes.

13. Data Security

Reasonable administrative and technical measures may be used to protect information received by WreckTech Automotive. However, no device storage system, email service, or method of electronic communication is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Users are responsible for protecting access to their devices and email accounts.

14. Children's Privacy

WreckTech Automotive is a general automotive service app and is not directed toward children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe that a child has submitted personal information through the app or by email, contact us at info@wrecktechautomotive.store. We will review the request and take reasonable steps to delete the information when appropriate.

15. Third-Party Services

The app may interact with third-party applications or services, including Gmail, Android system services, image-hosting services, and external websites or applications opened by the user.

Depending on the features you use and your Android version, the app may request access necessary for functions such as internet connectivity, selecting an optional vehicle image, or sharing or attaching content to an email. Permissions are intended to be requested only when needed for the related feature.

You may manage app permissions through your Android device settings. Denying a permission may prevent the related optional feature from working.

17. No Restricted or High-Risk Services

The app does not provide financial services, loans or credit products, investment services, cryptocurrency services, gambling services, medical advice, adult services, government services, guaranteed rewards or earnings, insurance claim approval, or legal advice.

Automotive information inside the app is provided for general informational purposes and does not replace an inspection by a qualified automotive professional.

18. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to request access to information you submitted, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of information, withdraw a service inquiry, or ask questions about how information is used.

19. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when app functionality changes, data-handling practices change, legal or policy requirements change, or new third-party services are introduced. The updated Privacy Policy will display a revised "Last updated" date.

Continued use of the app after an update means the revised policy applies to future use of the app.
